Creating Spiritual Energy is often cited as the critical first step. How do we stimulate the spiritual energy necessary for prolonged transformation and renewed vitality?

Some questions to ponder this week...

• What would it take to transform worship so that it is energy producing for participants and leaders?

• Where is the spiritual energy in our congregation now? Where is it flowing? How would you describe it—low, medium, high?

• What is our congregational experience of prayer? Is it “passive,” or “engaged,” formal or informal? More private and personal or public and shared?

• Where do people most likely experience God’s presence at Woodlawn Chapel?

• What would it take for you to experience God in worship?

• What are your spiritual gifts?

• What are your strengths for ministry?

• When was the last time someone other than the pastor shared their faith story?
  • What would it take for you to enthusiastically invite your family and friends to attend Woodlawn Chapel?
